Heriot – Sex Education for All is the first student-led nonprofit organization in Da Nang dedicated to advancing intersectional, inclusive, and culturally grounded sex education for marginalized youth and communities. Founded on the belief that “Knowledge is Power,” we strive to dismantle stigma, promote bodily autonomy, and foster informed, compassionate conversations around gender, health, and identity. Through educational outreach, creative advocacy, and community care initiatives, we aim to equip young people with the tools they need to make safe, confident, and respectful decisions. We are youth empowering youth—boldly, openly, and together.

What We Do

— Community-Based Sex Education

We design and deliver intersectional, rights-based sex education tailored to the specific cultural and social dynamics of Vietnam. Our workshops and peer-led sessions focus on consent, reproductive health, gender equity, and bodily autonomy—ensuring youth receive accurate, respectful, and relevant information.

— Digital Outreach and Content Creation

Through our growing online platforms, we create engaging, educational content that challenges stigma and addresses overlooked topics, such as LGBTQ+ rights, menstrual health, safe relationships, and emotional well-being. We use accessible language and creative formats to promote lifelong learning.

— Youth Engagement and Leadership

We empower young people to become advocates for change. Our members lead discussions, conduct research, and participate in decision-making processes. We also run a monthly book club and dialogue series where youth analyze sexual health issues through a community and cultural lens.

— Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns

We organize public campaigns that spotlight systemic gaps in education and welfare. From fundraising for Gaza to amplifying taboo issues, our advocacy work engages local communities, schools, and partners to normalize honest conversations about sex, health, and human dignity.

We believe in collective care. Our work is strengthened through partnerships with local artists, youth groups, small businesses, and educators who support our mission. Together, we build trust, share resources, and expand access to knowledge in communities often left behind.

Through volunteer mobilization, creative collaborations, and tailored services, we work to improve living conditions and bring dignity, joy, and visibility to marginalized groups often left out of mainstream support.
